INVITATION TO BID: VILLAGE OF ORISKANY COLLECTION & HAUL OF SOLID WASTE AND SINGLE STREAM RECYCLABLES
The Village of Oriskany is seeking bids for the collection and haul of solid waste and recyclables for households and businesses within Village limits. Specifications may be obtained from the Oriskany Village Clerk at the address below.
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, must be received by the Village Clerk’s office before 2:00 P.M. on Mon., Feb. 8, 2021. The bids will be opened during a virtual meeting of the Oriskany Board of Trustees on Tues., Feb. 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Envelopes will be opened on camera and the total price for collection will be read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Mon., Jan. 25, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. This meeting will also be held virtually in accordance with pandemic protocols. Bid shall be physically submitted upon the proposal forms furnished, should not be detached from the specification book, and must be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of bid(s) submitted, that the bidder could be awarded if successful. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or a certified check payable to the Village of Oriskany. Failure to submit bid bond or certified check will result in automatic disqualification of bid.
Packages containing bids must be sealed and marked: "Collection & Haul of Solid Waste and Single Stream Recyclables (Village of Oriskany)” and addressed to the Village Clerk at the address given below. Any inquiries regarding details on specifications must be in writing to the same or by email.
The Village reserves the right to revise or amend the specifications prior to the date set for the opening of the bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by Addenda to this advertisement. The Village reserves the right to reject all bids received.
