Village Accepting Bids for Street Resurfacing

VILLAGE OF ORISKANY INVITATION TO BID FOR STREET RESURFACING 2021


Please take notice that the Village of Oriskany will receive base bids for the resurfacing of (3) sections of Village Streets; a base bid located on Lansing St. Which includes the intersection of Miller, Main and Marino St., a base bid on Marino St. and an alternate bid on Clinton St.


Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the Village of Oriskany Clerk, until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the Municipal Building at 708 Utica Street, PO Box 904, Oriskany, New York or may be delivered to the Oriskany Highway Department located at 5376 Valley Road, Oriskany, New York. The bids will be publicly opened and read during the Village Board Meeting in the back room of the Oriskany Masonic Lodge (701 Utica Street, Oriskany) at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.


The work is for furnishing all labor and materials for performing paving within the Village of Oriskany.

Drawings and specifications may be obtained from the Village of Oriskany, Village Clerk at her office in the Municipal Building upon a non-refundable fee of $40 per set. The Clerk can be reached at 315-736-3512 or email clerk@oriskany.org and office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished and must be detached from the Specification Book.


Packages containing Bids must be sealed, marked and addressed to the Village of Oriskany, Village Clerk, Municipal Building at 708 Utica Street, PO Box 904, Oriskany, New York 13424. Also mark on the envelope or package the type of work for which the proposal is submitted. (“Resurfacing of Streets 2021")


A deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid will be required. This deposit shall consist of a Bid Bond or a Certified Check, payable to the Village of Oriskany. Failure to submit a Bid Bond or a Certified Check with the Bid will result in automatic disqualification of Bid.
