The Village of Oriskany Board of Trustees will meet Tues., Sept. 12, 2023 in the civic room above the clerk’s office at 708 Utica Street.
At 6:00 p.m. the board will hold a public meeting for ideas on the upcoming NYS Downtown Revitalization Initiative/NY Forward grant program. The village is seeking input from its residents about what can be updated and improved in the downtown commercial area extending from the intersection of Utica and River Streets. Businesses, potential business owners, and community leaders are also invited to submit a 1-2 page proposal of potential projects that could contribute to a vibrant downtown. The public is encouraged to attend or send their ideas by email to grants@oriskany.org or by mail to PO Box 904, Oriskany.
The regular monthly board meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Public comments can be submitted in writing to the village clerk until 10 a.m. on the Monday before the meeting. For details, please call the village office at 315-736-3512.
