VILLAGE OF ORISKANY INVITATION TO BID FOR STREET RESURFACING 2023
Please take notice that the Village of Oriskany will receive bids for the resurfacing of (3) different locations in the Village of Oriskany; the shoulder off Utica St. in front of Eastern Star Campus, the top section of Clinton St. from Utica St. to Haddon St., and the top half of Haddon St. from Beech St. to Monroe St.
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the Village of Oriskany Clerk, until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in the Village of Oriskany Municipal Building located at 708 Utica Street, PO Box 904, Oriskany, New York where the bids will be publicly opened and read during the Village Board Meeting. Bids may also be delivered to the Oriskany Highway Department located at 5376 Valley Road, Oriskany, New York until 2:00 pm that same day.
The work is for furnishing all labor and materials for performing paving within the Village of Oriskany.

III. Asphalt Concrete - Type 6 Top Course
IV. Asphalt Concrete – Type 3 Binder Course
Drawings and specifications may be obtained from the Village of Oriskany, Village Clerk at her office in the Municipal Building upon a non-refundable fee of $50 per set. The Clerk can be reached at 315-736-3512 or email clerk@oriskany.org. Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished and must be detached from the Specification Book.
Packages containing Bids must be sealed, marked and addressed to the Village of Oriskany, Village Clerk, Municipal Building at 708 Utica Street, PO Box 904, Oriskany, New York 13424. Also mark on the envelope or package the type of work for which the proposal is submitted. (“Resurfacing of Streets 2023")
A deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid will be required. This deposit shall consist of a Bid Bond or a Certified Check, payable to the Village of Oriskany. Failure to submit a Bid Bond or a Certified Check with the Bid will result in automatic disqualification of Bid.
