Community Ideas Meeting 8/28/24

The Village of Oriskany will host a public meeting to discuss ideas for the upcoming New York Forward (NYF) Grant opportunity on Wed. Aug. 28, 2024 at 7 pm at the Oriskany Museum, 420 Utica Street, Oriskany.

At their meeting on Aug. 13, the Village Board of Trustees moved to pursue a NYF application, in which NYS will award two $4.5 million grants per region for downtown revitalization. Robust community engagement is an important part of the application. Residents, local business owners, and community leaders are encouraged to “contribute to the development of the downtown vision” by attending the meeting or submitting their ideas in writing.
