The Village of Oriskany is seeking to hire up two (2) Recreation Assistants for their Summer Youth Recreation Program. The program will run from about July 5 to August 18, 2023 at N. A. Walbran Elementary School. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $15/hour.
Applicants must be sixteen years of age or older, reside within the Oriskany Central School District, and have reliable transportation to the elementary school or be within reasonable walking distance. First Aid certification preferred. Daily duties involve the supervision of children ages 5-12 and chaperoning field trips to places such as public pools, zoos, and amusement parks.
Application forms are available at oriskany.org or in the school guidance office. Applications must be submitted to the guidance office or the village clerk’s office (708 Utica St, drop box available) by Thursday, June 1, 2023.
